On Monday, August 17th, from 6 to 7:30 pm, parents and students are invited to attend the Back to School Night. It will be a fun night of catching up with old friends, returning all forms, and finding out information for the year. Forms can be found on the Google Classroom page. We will not sell materials or have bus forms until that night. We are looking forward to a wonderful year!!

Immanuel Summer Camp Session 2
Immanuel Crystal Lake’s Summer Camp offers a wide range of engaging, faith-based activities for children entering preschool through eighth grade. Camp sessions are scheduled for June 15–18 and June 22–25, with options available in sports, STEM, art, and more. Each program is designed to help children discover new interests, foster friendships, and build confidence through hands-on learning, guided by dedicated and caring instructors. Flexible scheduling is provided, including before- and after-care services to accommodate the needs of busy families.

Summer Worship Begins May 24
Summer worship schedule begins Memorial Day weekend. 8:00 a.m. traditional worship will continue inside and ONE contemporary service will be outside on the south lawn at 10:00 a.m. Bring your own chairs or blanket for outdoor worship.
Sunday outdoor worship needs set-up and tear-down teams each Sunday through August.

National Day of Prayer
National Day of Prayer -- GLORIFY GOD AMONG THE NATIONS - SEEKING HIM IN ALL GENERATIONS -- Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all the peoples. 1 Chronicles 16:24 -- JOIN US! On Thursday, May 7 at 2:00pm, Immanuel Lutheran School students (K-8), staff and volunteers will be encircling the building outside and praying over our school and church. Parents, grandparents, siblings and church members are welcome to join in prayer! As always, the prayer garden at the southeast corner of Immanuel’s campus is always open. -- The National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May, inviting people to pray for the nation. It was created in 1952 by a joint resolution of the United States Congress, and signed into law by President Harry S. Truman. The National Day of Prayer taskforce exists to communicate with every individual the need for personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize Christians to intercede for America.
Daddy Daughter Dance
Dust off your dancing shoes and join us for a Sock-Hop Daddy-Daughter Dance! Enjoy dinner & dancing, sip from the root beer float bar, strike a pose at photo stations, and make unforgettable memories together on this special night. Immanuel’s Daddy-Daughter Dance is open to all church & school families.

2026 School Fundraising Gala
Immanuel Lutheran School cordially invites you to our 9th Annual Gala, “The Grand Masquerade: Mystery with a Mission,” on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at the Crystal Lake Country Club. Join us for an elegant evening featuring fellowship, dining, and spirited auctions. This special event promises memorable moments and supports vital initiatives for our school community.
The proceeds from our upcoming Gala will be dedicated to enhancing the educational experience and environment at Immanuel Lutheran School. Funds raised will support several key initiatives:
Classroom Technology:
A portion of the Gala benefits will be used to purchase new projectors and portable smart boards, replacing classroom units as they reach the end of their lifespan. Additionally, we will invest in teacher laptops to ensure our faculty have reliable, up-to-date devices to support instruction and learning.
Academic Programs and Resources:
The Gala will help strengthen our academic offerings by providing funding for STEM curriculum enhancements and the acquisition of a 3D printer. These tools and programs are essential for equipping our students with the skills and experiences they need to excel in an evolving educational landscape.
Playground Improvements:
Finally, proceeds will be allocated to replace outdated playground equipment, creating a safer and more engaging outdoor environment for our students.
Through these targeted investments, the Gala will help ensure every child at Immanuel Lutheran School benefits from a more effective, enriching, and supportive learning environment.

Maundy Thursday Worship
Maundy Thursday worship at Immanuel Church in Crystal Lake is a significant observance within the Christian tradition, commemorating the Last Supper of Jesus with his disciples. The service typically includes Holy Communion, scripture readings, and reflections on Jesus’ commandment to love one another.
Do Good Date Night
Join us for Do Good Date Night on Saturday, March 14 at 6:00 p.m. in The Well. This Fun evening is a great opportunity to enjoy time together while making a positive impact. For $25 dollars per person, you date night includes dinner, drinks, scavenger hunt supplies and a t-shirt.

Mother Son Bowling
Moms and sons, get ready for a night of strikes, spares, and nonstop fun! Join us for an evening of friendly competition, laughter, and quality time. Immanuel’s Mother-Son Bowling Night is open to all Immanuel School and Church families.
