Support Groups at Immanuel
Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake offers a variety of support groups, each thoughtfully organized to address the unique needs of individuals facing challenging circumstances. These groups foster an environment where participants can share their experiences, find encouragement, and receive spiritual and emotional support within a caring Christian community.
Among the ministries, DivorceCare provides guidance and companionship for those experiencing the pain of separation or divorce, offering a space for honest conversation and healing. The Grief Support group welcomes anyone coping with loss, helping participants process grief in a supportive setting surrounded by understanding peers. In addition, the Prayer Shawl Ministry brings comfort through the tangible gift of handmade shawls, symbolizing prayers and care for those who are ill, grieving, or in need of encouragement.
Each support group at Immanuel Lutheran Church is led by compassionate facilitators who strive to embody Christ’s love and presence. Meetings often include prayer, reflection, and opportunities for fellowship, ensuring that every individual feels valued and supported. Through these ministries, the church seeks to walk alongside members and the wider community, offering hope and restoration during life’s most difficult seasons.

Meets Mondays at 9 a.m. at The Pointe Outreach Center near Target. Make shawls for new babies, grieving families, and ill friends and families.

Open Door - Women Gathering
Meets Mondays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Pointe Outreach Center near Target.
Come as you are, and when you can, and stay as little or long as you want. The “warmest” part of our time together will come around the 2:00-3:00 hour…meeting together with a meaningful message and conversation. Share, care, prayer…together.
